Using this palette
Art Deco color use was famously restrained despite feeling opulent — black and gold do the heavy lifting, and a single jewel tone (here, deep emerald or burgundy, used one at a time rather than both together) provides the accent, echoing the actual material palette of 1920s architectural ornament: lacquer, gilding, and inlaid stone. Using both #004225 and #800020 on the same screen tends to read as busy rather than glamorous — pick one as the accent per design, not both. #C9A227 on #0B0B0B is the signature combination and clears strong contrast; keep large text in ivory or gold, never in the jewel tones directly.
