Using this palette
Five distinct hues at near-equal saturation and lightness, which is unusual for a curated palette — most themes here vary lightness to create hierarchy, but candy-pop is built to feel like a mixed bag where every piece is equally eye-catching, which is exactly the effect a candy jar has. That makes hierarchy hard to build with color alone; lean on size and position instead, and keep any of these off large text blocks (none reach AA against white at body-text sizes). Genuinely useful for kids' brands, party/event sites, or anywhere 'fun' needs to be the primary signal rather than a secondary tone.
