Using this palette

The desert-at-dusk effect comes from a genuine temperature shift across the palette rather than a uniform hue — it starts warm (sand, adobe, sunburnt red) and ends cool (violet, near-black), the same way desert air actually cools fast once the sun drops. #A85751 sits at the pivot point and pairs reasonably with either half. For UI, #2E2237 makes a solid dark-mode base with #E8C39E as body text or headline color rather than the reverse — light-on-dark reads better than trying to force dark text onto the warm sand tone. Suits southwestern/adobe branding, desert travel content, or warm dark-mode themes; too muted for anything needing high alertness or urgency.
