Using this palette
Restraint is the whole point of a luxury palette — three of five swatches here are near-black or charcoal specifically so the gold has almost no competition when it appears, because gold surrounded by other bright color reads as gaudy rather than expensive. Use #D4AF37 in small, deliberate amounts (a rule line, a monogram, foil-effect type) against the black or charcoal fields; #B08D57 works as a secondary metal tone for icons or borders where full gold would be too much. #F5E7C1 is a warm off-white for body copy on the dark backgrounds — pure white reads slightly cheap against this particular black, where the warm cream doesn't.
