Using this palette
Harder and more blue than cool-neutrals — this ramp is meant to evoke actual metal and stone materials rather than function as a soft UI neutral base, so the contrast between steps is a bit more aggressive and the darkest tone is genuinely close to black rather than a soft charcoal. #1C1F26 and #2E333D both carry light text at strong contrast and make a legitimate dark-mode base on their own. Well suited to hardware, engineering, or heavy-industry branding, and to developer-tool dark themes wanting more weight than a typical soft-gray UI kit; less appropriate for anything needing warmth or approachability.
